Dan Rouillard, resident of Fox Creek, AB, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 82 years.

Dan was born on June 27, 1940. He grew up in Edson, AB, and moved to Fox Creek in 1968 with his loving wife Lorna (nee Young). Dan remained in Fox Creek for 54 years.

Dan is survived by his daughter Cheryl (Allan) Hasenclever of Grande Prairie and their children: Michaela (Alex) of Gatineau, QC, and Mitchell of Grande Prairie, AB; his son Darryn (Carmen) of Calgary, AB, and their children: Rachel and Ryan of Calgary; siblings Blanche Edwards of Edson, AB, Jeanette Stabile of Spruce Grove, AB, and Richard Rouillard of Mackenzie, BC; brothers-in-law Don McPherson of Nanaimo, BC, and Don (Shirley) Young of Kamloops, BC; sister-in-law Marilyne Rouillard of Edmonton, AB; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Dan was predeceased by his wife Lorna in 2007, mother Agnes, father Wilfred, sister Lil McPherson, brothers: Marcel Rouillard and Denny Rouillard, parents-in-law Percy and Maude Young; brothers-in-law Ken (Peggy) Young, of Peers, AB and Ted Young of Peers, AB.

Cremation has taken place and Dan requested that there will be no funeral service.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and healthcare providers for their care and compassion towards our father and grandfather, Dan Rouillard.
