Bruce Wayne Stevenson, a loving husband, devoted father, doting grandfather, caring brother and friend, was born on April 11, 1954, in DeBolt, AB. He peacefully passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 69 years, in Grande Prairie, AB.

Bruce will be remembered for his remarkable personality. He was friendly, always welcoming others with a warm smile. His determination and hard work were evident in every aspect of his life. Bruce had a generous spirit, constantly giving his time and resources to those in need. His extensive knowledge and wisdom made him a valuable source of advice and guidance for his loved ones.

Throughout his life, Bruce experienced several significant moments and had numerous memorable experiences. He took great pride in raising a loving and close-knit family. Bruce dedicated himself to working on the family farm, pouring his heart and soul into its success. Additionally, he served as a dedicated member of the DeBolt Volunteer Fire Department and First Response Team for an impressive 26 years, selflessly putting himself in harm's way to protect his community.

Bruce had a wide range of hobbies and interests that brought him joy. Above all, he cherished spending quality time with his family and friends, creating lasting memories. He found immense happiness in watching his grandchildren play and grow, taking pride in their accomplishments. Bruce enjoyed the great outdoors and loved camping, appreciating the beauty of nature. He also had a passion for making wine, delighting in the process of creating something special. Traveling and exploring new places were among his favorite pastimes, as he loved different experiences and cuisines.

Bruce's impact on the lives of those who knew him was immeasurable. He possessed strong leadership qualities, inspiring others to be their best selves. Bruce was always willing to lend a helping hand, offering support and guidance whenever it was needed. His kindness and generosity touched the hearts of many, leaving a lasting impression.

Bruce Wayne Stevenson is survived by his loving wife, Diane, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He will be deeply missed by his children: Shaun (Shyane) Stevenson, Kena (Tyler) Hanson, Kyra (Dwayne) Patterson, and Nick (Ashton) Plamondon who will forever cherish the memories they shared. Bruce's grandchildren: Hunter Stevenson, Jesse Pastion, Raelynn Wright, Trace, Kinsley, Charlotte and Tessa Patterson, Jayden, Saige, and Morgan Plamondon all brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his siblings: Lee (Margo) Stevenson, Duane (LaDine) Stevenson, Bonnie (Ken) Sorenson, and many in-laws, outlaws, nieces, and nephews with whom he shared a special bond.

He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Marie Stevenson, brother Gordon Stevenson, and father-in-law Don Trarback.

The loss of Bruce Wayne Stevenson leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him. His legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will be carried on by those he touched. May his soul rest in eternal peace
