Margaret Ockert, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at the age of 80 years.

Margaret was born on September 28, 1943. She lived her entire life in the Grande Prairie area and was a witness to the huge growth of this city. She was a very talented crafter and produced beautiful works of art in cross stitch and needlepoint. She was a prolific producer of afghans and kept her many friends and family cozy and warm.

Margaret enjoyed camping and traveling with her late husband and family, usually with a golf course in mind.

She will be sadly missed by her many friends, sister Janet (Michael), brother Ken (Ann), nieces and nephews: Debbie, Suzanne, Ken, Shaun, Erin, Alexandra, and Christopher, as well as extended family members.

Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband Gary, and her parents John and Dorothy Pollock.

At Margaret's request, no memorial service will be held.
