Paul Duane Stranaghan, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, in Grande Prairie, formerly of Rycroft, AB, at the age of 57 years.
Paul was born in Spirit River, AB, on June 3, 1966.
Paul went to school at the Peace School of Hope, Montrose Junior High & Composite High School in Grande Prairie. He then went on to work for Swan Industries, A&W, and Boston Pizza.
Paul was a Calgary Flames fan all the way! There was always a smile on Paul’s face, he was always happy to see his family and friends.
Paul loved country music, volunteering in the community, bowling, floor hockey, and golfing.
He will be sadly missed by his special friend Donna Hatton; brothers: Richard (Wilda), Barry (Lesly), Pat (Karen), and Neal; sisters: Pam (John), Sheila, Gillian (Ed), and Norma (Barry); auntie Lois; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Paul was predeceased by parents Dudley and Margaret Stranaghan, brother David Stranaghan, nephew Tyler Stranaghan, brother-in-law Dennis Cripps, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at the Church of Christ (9602-92 Ave.) Grande Prairie.
