Terry was born on October 12, 1956, in Grande Prairie, AB. He was the first-born son of Mike and Marge Nikolaychuk. He was raised on the family farm near Woking, AB.

Terry loved his time growing up on the farm helping with chores. He especially loved harvest. As a young man, he hoped to take over the family farm, but work took him to Grande Prairie where he worked as a parts man for Kenworth.

Terry married Anna-Marie Chevalier in 1981, and they were blessed with a daughter, Dawna-Marie. In 1986, they moved to Spruce Grove where Terry worked for Calmont Truck Parts and then White Volvo. He even worked a year in Siberia working in his profession.

Terry remained in the Edmonton area until 2022, when he moved to Spirit River, AB, until his passing.

Left to mourn Terry’s passing are his daughter Dawna-Marie Poirier of Langley, BC, his brother Randy Nikolaychuk of Grande Prairie, and his nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, his parents Mike and Marge Nikolaychuk, and his younger brother Ron Nikolaychuk.

Terry will be laid to rest in a private family service.
