Steve Vanderburgh, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of British Columbia, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 66 years, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born August 22, 1958, in London, ON where he was raised and attended Fanshawe College before moving to British Columbia in the early 80’s. He worked at the St. Paul’s Hospital for over 25 years.

Steve was a hard-working family man, when not working he was often found puttering around the house with a new project on the go. He was funny and loved to make people laugh, he always had a joke to tell! He also enjoyed doing renovations, collecting stamps, going to car shows, watching the races, and spending all the time he could with his grandchildren.  

He was survived by his wife Betty; children: Ashley (Nicole) Vanderburgh, and Katelyn (Joey) Seiler, and stepchildren; grandchildren: Arianna and Christopher; his mother Helen Tybring (Walter Turk); brother Sean (Terra) Vanderburgh; and niece Rylee (Brett) Vanderburgh Gingras.

Steve was predeceased by his father Michael, stepmother Barbara, niece Lauren Vanderburgh, and uncle Jim Clarke.
