In Loving Memory of
Brandon Roger Comeau
of Grande Prairie, Alberta
November 24, 1984 - November 10, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brandon Roger Comeau. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the age of 39.
Brandon had fought an ongoing battle with a lifelong illness. Brandon was born on November 24, 1984, in Digby, NS, and always considered it his home. He moved to Grande Prairie, AB in 2007 to find employment in the oil and gas industry where he worked as a pipefitter and a Q/C manager.
Brandon was a talented artist and musician. His sketches rivaled those of professional artists. Brandon loved to play the guitar, drums, and even piano. He could play music despite never having any formal training. He loved all types of music, especially hip-hop. He knew the words to every song and would sing along with his brother Darcy during the last months of his life in the hospital.
Brandon enjoyed his career in the oilfield industry as well as quadding off-road, building RC trucks for rock climbing with his friend Wil and especially camping with his two children. Brandon's children were the light of his life.
Brandon is survived by his two children Brady Weldon and Kallie Grace; mother Judy (Trask) Weaver; stepfather Blair; two brothers Darcy Comeau (Ciana), and Josh Comeau (Vera); grandmother Pauline Comeau; nephews: Joel, Rory, and Jack; and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brandon was predeceased by the children’s mother Kady Campell, father Roger Comeau, grandfather Gerald Comeau, and grandparents Gloria and Weldon Trask.
An interment and celebration of life for Brandon will be held in Nova Scotia and announced at a later date.
There is a song the family would like to share for Brandon.
