Eva Parent passed away peacefully in the arms of her family and friends on Monday, November 18, 2024, in Grande Prairie Prairie Lake Hospice.

Eva was born on December 9, 1959, in Vanderhoof BC.

She is survived by her husband Edwin Krahn; children: Mary Parent, Bonnydale Pierre, Nancy Parent, Dianne Parent, Mike Archibald (Jenn Finke), Terrilyn Parent, and Michelle Parent (Thomas McIntyre); numerous grandchildren; as well as siblings: Bernhardt Wiebe (Eva Wiebe), Nettie Wiebe, Gertrude Wiebe (John D Wiebe), Susan Loewen (George Loewen), and Mary Reimer (Jacob E Reimer).

Eva was predeceased by her parents Johan and Gertruda Wiebe, first husband Edmond Parent; siblings: John W Wiebe, Elizabeth Wiebe, John Giesbrecht, and Jacob Wiebe; step-daughter Linda Denty: and grandkids: Devon Parent, Danny Reed, and Derek Parent.

A Viewing will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 6:00-8:00pm at Essentials Cremations in Grande Prairie (10016 102 Ave.). All who wish to attend are welcome.

A Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 11:00am at Beaverlodge Alliance Church (409 10 St.). This service will be open to anyone who wishes to attend and can accommodate those with mobility struggles. The service will also be livestreamed via https://youtube.com/live/SiNZooyJxgA?feature=share

Livestream will be made available 15 minutes prior to the service starting, for anyone unable to travel and join us in person.
