July 16, 1958 - April 22, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Banman on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the age of 66 years.
Victor was born in Swift Current, SK, on July 16, 1958, and lived primarily in Fort St. John, BC. He had a strong passion for camping, river boating, and fishing. Eventually, Victor, Joanne, and Preston relocated to Beaverlodge, AB, to remain close to their family.
Victor's most notable achievement was his significant impact on the lives of others. As a mentor, guide, and inspiration, he consistently encouraged those around him to aspire for greatness and happiness. His love of family was evident in every aspect of his life. He cherished the moments spent with his loved ones and always prioritized their happiness and well-being. His wonderful sense of humour and boisterous laugh brought joy to all who knew him. Whether he was sharing a funny story or a witty remark, Victor had a unique ability to uplift the spirits of those around him.
Victor is survived by his wife Joanne; his children Paul Olson (Bernard) and Melissa (Dallas) Badine; and his grandchildren Preston, Emma, and Eva.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Nicole Banman.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 24, 2025, where family and friends will gather to honour Victor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to help Preston’s future can be sent to vjbanman@telus.net.
