It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory Peterson at the age of 77, on May 15, 2025, in Grande Cache, Alberta.

Gregory was born on February 3, 1948, in Saskatoon, SK. He was a devoted family man, who cherished his children and took immense joy in watching his grandchildren grow. Though often a bit rough around the edges, his love for his family ran deep and unwavering. He was a steady presence, a source of strength, and someone who always had a soft spot for the little ones, even if he tried to hide it.

Gregory is survived by his loving son Daniel (Melissa), daughter Denise (Kevin), grandchildren, Angela (Colin), Amanda (Adam), Jaden, Brooklyn, Halle, Amelia, Mathias, Theoden, Rozalind, Alden, great grandson Harris, sister-in-law Linda Peterson, sister Lorraine, brother-in-law Len German, nephews Michael and Allen German. 

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Leslie Nadeau Peterson, parents, Bertha and Archie Peterson, niece, Mary Ellen Peterson and brother, Peter Peterson.

Gregory’s life was built around family, connection, and a quiet strength that touched all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed and his memory lovingly held in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to spend time with your loved ones, as Gregory always valued those simple moments the most.

A private family service will be held in his honor.
